GSP97 RFE BMW
incl. installation and training
Stationary wheel balancing machine with automatic quick action clamp for balancing and diagnosing passenger car wheels with a rim diameter of up to 30 inches and a wheel weight of 79 kg. The automatic quick action clamp ensures that the wheel is fitted precisely. Tightening torque monitoring ensures that every wheel can be balanced under the same conditions. Special feature: The GSP97 BMW RFE enables the detection of vibration problems which cannot be solved by balancing the wheel with tyre. So-called radial force fluctuations are involved here. These radial force fluctuations can be caused by out-of-round wheel rims and out-of-round and hard places in the tyre. The Hunter GSP97 BMW-RFE identifies these force fluctuations by means of a road force measurement in which a separate road roller presses against the tyre with 567 kg. After the measurement, recommendations are displayed on how to twist the tyre and wheel rim together to keep force fluctuations to a minimum. Lateral pull problems caused by the tyre can be identified and reduced using an additional integrated lateral force measurement. The lateral force measurement outputs suggestions on the position in which the corresponding wheel should be mounted in the vehicle. The goal is to position the wheels so that the lateral forces introduced by the tyres cancel each other out as much as possible. In a balancing process, all relevant data for the diagnosis of the wheel with tyre is determined. As a result, recommendations for optimising vibration and lateral pull or positioning balance weights are displayed on the wheel rim.
